Do you love all aspects of writing regardless of the medium? From those exciting onboarding screens to the strictly-45-character-long gems? What are we looking for? A UX writer to join the creative machines at Bombay DC and build progressive digital products. We are on our way to creating a design centre that will serve the needs of the country’s most path-breaking companies. UX writing is all about crafting words to guide a person (user) through an app or a website. Unlike content writers you can’t work alone to get your job done. You will work very closely with designers, strategists, users, other writers(we got a gang), product managers, clients to ensure we’re creating a clear and concise user experience across digital products. (we're not a typical digital agency... not by a long shot) A designer with words, if you will. Your canvas? Websites, Mobile apps, Ecommerce platforms Videos, Emailers, Banners Maybe even a book? Your duties? A lot of writing. Rewriting. More writing. Proofreading. A bit of brand thinking. More experience design thinking. Strategic UX copy. Hard to ignore CTAs. Long form content. Chat Conversation Design. Unforgettable one liners. Cute micro-copy. Clear error and feedback messaging. Language guides. Writing for design. A bit of research (online and sometimes on-ground). Constant experimentation (probably unlike anything you've tried before) That’s it, not! You will also create content strategies, value propositions, messaging hierarchies, consistent experiences, and craft the tone of voice of a brand. You see its wholesome job we’re offering.
