Job Description
This is a remote position.
Sportskeeda is looking for writers who actively follow the exhilarating sport of NASCAR can effectively convert their understanding of the sport into meaningful and precise articles for a vast reader base.
The Opportunity
• Experience: 1+ years
• Nature of Employment: Contractual
Note: Previous experience with content writing would be given preference.
Responsibilities:
• Write 4-5 features a day (500-1500 words), which may vary from news stories to listicles and more.
• Minimum of 100 NASCAR articles monthly
• Must have a deep-rooted understanding of NASCAR and motorsport in general
• Must have an exhibitable understanding of the NASCAR technical regulations, especially the changes for the 2026 season
• Should have a basic understanding of SEO tools to help optimize content
• Must have strong command over the English language, with minimal factual and grammatical errors in writing
• Must be able to work under tight deadlines, at different times of the day, and deliver content for the publication on time
Requirements:
• Excellent knowledge of the NASCAR community
• Excellent command of the English language (US) is a must
• Should have a knack for sentence composition, grammar, and syntax, complemented by a flair for writing
• Excellent content acquisition skills from viral platforms such as YouTube, Reddit, Twitter, Google Trends, and more
• Excellent time management skills and ability to work independently
