Description

We are looking to hire a dedicated content writer to create content for blogs, articles, product descriptions, social media and the company website.

The content writer's responsibilities include evaluating analytics to adjust content as needed, through research on industry-related topics, generating ideas for new content types and proofreading articles before publication. Ultimately, you’ll deliver quality writing pieces that appeal to our audiences, attract customers and boost brand awareness.

Roles and Responsibilities:
• Produce well-researched content for publication online and in print
• Write clear marketing copy to promote our products/services
• Proofread and edit blog posts before publication
• Ensure all-around consistency (style, fonts, images and tone)
• Organize writing schedules to complete drafts of content or finished projects within deadlines
• Follow an editorial calendar, collaborating with marketing and design teams to illustrate articles of the content to the production team to ensure timely delivery of materials
• Develop related content for multiple platforms, such as websites, books, email marketing, product descriptions, videos and blogs
• Monitor and analyse customers’ needs and gaps in our content and recommend new topics
• Use search engine optimization (SEO) strategies in writing to maximize the online visibility of a website in search results
• Promote content on social media
• Update website content as needed

Skills and Qualifications:
• Proven work experience as a Content Writer, Copywriter or similar role
• Professional portfolio of published articles
• Experience doing research using multiple sources
• Ability to work on multiple projects with different objectives simultaneously
• Impeccable grasp of the English language in writing and editing, including idioms and current trends in slang and expressions
• Proficiency with computers, especially writing programs, such as Google Docs and Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
• Strict adherence to the style guides of each company and their policies for publication
• Good time management skills, including prioritizing, scheduling, and adapting as necessary
• Familiarity with each client's requirements and the company's brand image, products, and services
• BSc in Marketing, English, Journalism or related field
• Preference is SME in science for quiz
