The ideal candidate should have experience in creating technical content for various audiences, including end-users, developers, and internal stakeholders. This role involves working closely with subject matter experts to gather technical information and transform it into clear, concise, and engaging content. Key Responsibilities: • Research, write, edit, and proofread technical documents such as user manuals, API documentation, technical guides, release notes, FAQs, and knowledge base articles. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, designers, and marketers, to gather and understand technical information. • Translate complex technical concepts into user-friendly content tailored to different audiences and skill levels. • Ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency in all technical documentation. • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and new technologies to continuously improve the quality of our documentation. • Manage documentation projects efficiently, including prioritizing tasks, meeting deadlines, and coordinating with team members. Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in English, Technical Writing, Computer Science, or a related field. • Proven experience (2 years) as a technical writer, preferably in the [Ecommerce Platform] field. • Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills, with a strong attention to detail. • Proficiency in using documentation tools such as Microsoft Word, Google Docs, Markdown, or Adobe FrameMaker. • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and documentation platforms (e.g., Confluence, GitHub Pages). • Ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and explain them in simple terms. • Experience working in an Agile development environment is a plus. • Portfolio of writing samples demonstrating your technical writing skills is required.
