Job Title: Content Writer
Experience: 4+ years
Responsibilities:
• Conducting in-depth, well structured and long-form research-based content
• Developing content for blogs, articles, metadata, product descriptions, social media, and website landing pages
• Research and Develop content for Q&A websites such as Quora, Trip Advisor, etc
• Creating compelling headlines and body copy that will capture the attention of the target audience
• Create content that motivates, inspires, educates, informs, sells, and simply, provides information, across a wide variety of digital platforms
• Write engaging content and ensure that it adheres to SEO standards
• Follows all brand editorial guidelines for consistency and ensure all-around consistency (style, fonts, images and tone)
• Understand the client’s business, services, product lines before writing the content
• Proven experience working under pressure to deliver high-quality output in a short span of time
• Work closely with the digital marketing team to produce content that generates results
• The ability to handle multiple projects concurrently
• Generate ideas for new content composition
Required Skills:
• Proven 4+ years of work experience as an SEO Content Writer or Copywriter
• Have expertise in writing the content for various regional mainly Australia, USA and UK
• Bachelor’s degree in English Literature, Communication, Marketing, Journalism or related field
• Portfolio of published articles
• Knowledge of multiple verticals; e.g. e-commerce, B2C, B2B
• Experience doing research using multiple sources
• Excellent Verbal, Writing and Editing skills in English
• Knowledge of digital marketing tactics that includes SEO
• The ability to consistently meet tight deadlines
• Familiarity with marketing tools, MS Office or Google Suite
• Good understanding of the latest marketing trends and techniques, especially SEO
• Willingness to take new initiatives
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task projects and deliverables
• Knowledge of keywords, meta tags, SEO and basic writing terminologies
