About the Team:
We’re hiring for the travel vertical of Paytm, which is the preferred online platform for travel bookings that includes bus, flights, trains and hotel categories.
About the Role:
Looking for a versatile, experienced Content Writer to create high-quality written content to support our marketing and branding goals. You will play a pivotal role in shaping our brand's voice and message, and ensuring that our content is engaging and relevant to our target audience.
Responsibilities:
1) Develop a wide range of content, including blog posts, push notifications, emailers, social media posts, and more
2) Collaborate with marketing, design,business teams and external agencies to create and implement effective content marketing strategies
3) Research competitor brands and industry trends to come up with content pegs that communicate our USPs and strengths to the correct TG
4) Writing clear marketing copy to promote our products/services. Take ownership of content development and ensure high-quality content delivery
5) Preparing well-structured drafts for blogs and social media platform
6) Conducting keyword research and optimising content according to SEO
7) Ensure all-around consistency according to brand guidelines
8) The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-performance environment
Requirements:
1) Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or related fields
2) 1-2 years of experience as a content writer, technical writer or journalist. Experience writing about travel would be a plus.
3) Strong research skills
4) Exceptional written and oral communication
5) Proficiency in content marketing is a plus
