Job Description
We are looking to hire an ambitious individual who will be responsible for writing compelling marketing and promotional material for a beauty/skincare brand. Define brand voice and ensure that all copy is consistent with this voice by writing, editing and proofreading materials.
Daily Responsibilities:
• Create original, high engagement and exciting content for all channels: Ads, social media, authored articles, emailers, SMS, blogs, website landing pages, ecommerce platforms.
• Revise copy based on feedback/direction
• Plan, develop and implement content strategy for allocated projects, based on best practices & business value prioritization rules
• Use SEO principles to increase the copy’s reach
• Edit and proofread work to ensure high editorial standards are met across all content outputs
• Drive brand consistency across all company communications
• Develop and implement brand guidelines
• Stay current on trends and competitors within the editorial sphere
• See projects through the whole creative lifestyle, from inception to deployment
• Collaborate with Marketing, PR and Customer Support
• Experience to develop a variety of content marketing materials
Skills Required:
• Proficient in all major social channels, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, Pinterest.
• Knowledge in ecommerce platforms- Amazon, Nykaa, Flipkart etc
• Should have the capability to think out of the box with a flare for creativity.
• Must be research oriented
• Knowledge in basic SEO principles
• Conceptual thinking, Typography, Color psychology
• Exceptional writing skills with strong attention to detail, grammar & brand tone.
• Ability to constructively critique and receive critical input
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment and meet deadlines
• Excellent writing, editing, and proof reading skills with a diligent eye for detail, language, flow, and grammar
• Proficiency with Google Suite and Microsoft Office software including Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Qualification: Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Marketing or Communication
Office hours: + hours daily, 6 days/week
Experience: 2 years minimum
