Job Title: Content Writer – Social Media & Print Media
Location: Khar West, Mumbai

Job Summary:
We’re looking for a passionate Content Writer who can bring stories to life across social media and print platforms. The ideal candidate is someone who cares deeply about social impact, has a strong grasp of writing for diverse audiences, and can craft content that inspires, informs, and mobilizes.
Key Responsibilities:
Social Media Content:
• Write engaging and emotionally resonant content for platforms like Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter and YouTube.
• Translate on-ground stories and program updates into compelling posts, captions, and short scripts.
• Collaborate with the design team to create visuals that align with the written narrative.
• Support in managing a content calendar and campaign planning.
• Stay informed about trends in the nonprofit sector and digital storytelling.
Print Media Content:
• Write and edit content for newsletters, donor reports, brochures, GVT booklet, etc.
• Collaborate with the Data team to collect data, field inputs, and beneficiary stories.
• Ensure brand voice and consistency in tone across all external communications.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, English, Mass Communication, Development Studies, or a related field.
• Strong portfolio showcasing written content across both social and print channels.
• Ability to simplify complex ideas and write with empathy and impact.
• Excellent command of English and Marathi.
• Comfortable working in a collaborative and dynamic environment with tight deadlines.
Nice to Have:
• Experience visiting or working in field locations to document stories.
• Understanding of social causes, fundraising communication, and campaign writing.
• Basic design skills (Canva or Adobe Express).
• Video scripting abilities are a bonus.
CTC: 3-3.5 LPA
