About the Job
This is a position for a contract/full-time YouTube Content Writer for a hobby electronics-related YT brand. The topics that the Content Writer will work on are related to lasers, CNC machines, robotics, 3D printing, and other hobby electronics/tech topics. The ideal candidate possesses a passion for learning/reading and good English-speaking skills. Pre-requisite knowledge is not absolutely necessary and engineering grads with good English language skills are preferred. The ideal candidate also possesses a creative mind and good writing skills. This is a hybrid position. The office location is Trivandrum City.
Responsibilities:
• Primary responsibility will be to research and write scripts for videos on a wide range of topics related to lasers and CNCs, including new products and technical tutorials.
• Work closely with our video production team to ensure that your scripts accurately and effectively convey the information and ideas being presented in the videos.
Requirements:
• Candidates with a bachelor's degree in engineering are preferred (Electronics, Mechanical)
• Excellent writing and verbal communication skills
• Strong research and organizational skills
• This is a long-term commitment, and the onboard candidate will need to be consistent with the output and the quality.
• Should have good Technical Flair/Analytical Mind
• The candidate should be willing to work from our office location in Trivandrum

• Shortlisted candidates will have to attend an interview. Candidates shortlisted after the interview will be given a test topic and will work on the content as a freelancer. If the performance during the freelance period is satisfactory, the candidate may be offered a full-time position
