Job Description
Container Traders is seeking a dynamic web communications professional to manage the digital presences of the company.
In this role you will manage the company’s digital platforms, develop and optimise online content, create pages to support campaigns, develop digital newsletters, and analyse and report on performance to amplify their impact.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute engaging copywriting for various digital platforms including websites, social media and email marketing.
Produce search-optimised content that meets accessibility and aligns with web best practices.
Create and manage customer journeys, EDMs and campaign lists.
A/B or Multivariant testing for landing pages.
Creating web pages and entering content within Content Management Systems within a WordPress environment.
Managing the user experience and content architecture of the company websites.
Generating reports on web traffic and campaign performance, offering insights and recommendations.
Providing input into the strategy of digital assets for the company.
Skills and Experience:
Minimum 2 years of experience in a web management / digital marketing & communications role or similar, demonstrating a track record of high-quality digital content creation, website management and strong organisational skills.
Impeccable copywriting and editing skills.
Proficiency in web content authoring, editing, and publishing, with a solid grasp of accessibility, usability, and web writing best practices.
Knowledge of SEO principles and User Experience best practices.
Experience using Content Management Systems (preferably WordPress).
Knowledge of content architectures.
High attention to detail is crucial to the success of this role.
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work autonomously and collaboratively.
Bonus skills
Experience with digital marketing tools (e.g. Google Ads, Facebook Ads Manager) and platforms (e.g. Google Analytics).
Website redevelopment / migration project experience.
Graphic design experience (e.g. Canva, Figma).
Experience using WordPress Themes and Plugins.
