With these objectives in mind, we have created various channels to meet the needs of students spanning from K-12 to PG and Ph.D level. We also offer Counselling and Mentoring to assist students in making the best Academic and Non-Academic decisions in a single click. Responsibilities:
• Writing, proofreading, and editing effective copy for a variety of media and channels
• Establishing and reflecting the brand voice in writing style across all communications
• Staying updated with content formats & pop culture trends, and leveraging these to develop witty/funny/topical content for the brand
• Working closely with the design team to bring content to life, aligned with brand guidelines
• Proofread and edit blog posts before publication
• Research industry-related topics
• Conduct simple keyword research and use SEO guidelines to increase web traffic
• Ensure all-around consistency (style, fonts, images, and tone)
Skills & Competencies:
• Great copy & content skills, to be able to create relatable and authentic content. Being punny or funny is a distinct advantage.
• Compelling storytelling skills and a flurry of creative ideas, wordplays, puns & excellent writing craft
• Staying abreast of social media, lifestyle, and pop culture trends
• Ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects and meet aggressive deadlines
• Experience copywriting / editorial experience at a service brand or agency
• Optimizing content for SEO
• Proven work experience as a Content Writer or similar role
• Excellent writing and editing skills in English (Hindi will be an added advantage)
• Ability to meet deadlines
• Decent understanding and a strong interest in Edtech.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Marketing, or a related field
• A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in the relevant domain
• Strong understanding of content marketing on social media, SEO, and digital marketing best practices
• Experience working with cross-functional teams, including designers, marketing managers
