Content Writer (1.5+ years)
Are you a creative storyteller passionate about writing compelling content that drives organic traffic and conversions?
We’re looking for a talented Content Writer to join our team. In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to create a wide range of content, from long-form blogs and thought leadership articles to landing pages and email campaigns. If you have a knack for keyword research, a talent for writing, and a desire to educate business leaders through content, we’d love to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
- Research, write, edit, and publish high-quality content across various platforms, including blogs, social media, website copy, email newsletters, and more, to educate our target audience and increase conversions.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop content strategies that align with business goals.
- Revamp outdated content by incorporating new keywords, updating it to reflect current trends, and optimizing for SEO. Enhance readability and style to ensure it resonates with today’s audience.
- Plan and execute content marketing campaigns to promote products, services, and brand messaging, using various channels such as social media, email marketing, and content syndication.
- Ensure all content is consistent in style, tone, and quality and adheres to SEO best practices.
- Develop and publish thought leadership blogs and articles for the Marketing team, contributing to the company's brand voice and positioning.
- Conduct keyword research and use SEO guidelines to increase web traffic.
- Optimize existing SEO pages to improve search engine rankings, ensuring content is keyword-aligned and adheres to SEO best practices.
- Proofread and edit content produced by other team members.
- Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate relevant topics into content.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product, design, and sales, to ensure content is aligned with company objectives.
What we’re looking for:
- 1.5+ years of proven experience in content writing/marketing.
- Bachelor's degree in marketing or relevant experience.
- Proven experience in B2B content marketing.
- A diverse portfolio of long-form blogs for various marketing funnels, thought-leadership pieces, Quora answers, landing pages, ad copy, and email series. Skilled in keyword research and creating compelling content outlines.
- Excellent grammar and writing skills. You should have the ability to grasp our writing standards while maintaining your own style.
- Proficient in SEO principles and practices, with experience optimizing content for search engines.
- Demonstrated ability to create and execute content marketing strategies to boost engagement and conversions.
- Ability to analyze content performance data and make data-backed content optimization decisions to improve content effectiveness.
- Familiarity with content management systems (CMS), email marketing platforms, and social media tools.
- Strong collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- A SaaS background is preferred, though not essential.
