Brief Description:
The Content Writer will be an experienced public communication or content writing professional who will develop and execute public affairs objectives, priorities, and plans on behalf of Aakhya’s clients and partners on key policy issues across sectors. Strategic planning and the ability to execute narrative-building.
Building a campaign will be the core responsibility of this position.
The ideal candidate has experience in writing and developing content for media publications or a background in journalism, mass communication, or any other relevant field of study.

Preferred Qualifications:
● Exceptional research skills, including the ability to find new sources of information (e.g., data points) to support written content.
● Exceptional writing skills, including the ability to synthesize policy positions and complex issues for internal and external audiences and an ability to convince through writing.
● Exceptional time-management skills; including the ability to prioritize and manage competing
demands on your time
● Proven ability to work in teams, especially coordinating across functions.
● A Master’s degree is required, preferably in a relevant discipline from a reputed institute
(Political Science, International Relations, Mass Communication)
● Demonstrated ability to build and foster effective relationships and networks with others
● Fluent in written and spoken English. A working understanding of Hindi and other Indian languages will be ideal.
● Comfortable working in ambiguous environments; self-starter that can use good judgment and resourcefulness to take action in the absence of clear guidance; ability to “manage up” to ensure you get what you need to be effective.
● Strong attention to detail for all administrative functions
