Writing captions, SEO-friendly blogs, and articles for the website. Work with the team and improve the content written by other writers. Connecting with other departments to develop creative marketing strategies. Brainstorming with the team for new ideas. Submit work to editors for input and approval. Coordinate with marketing and design teams to illustrate articles. Conduct simple keyword research and use SEO guidelines to increase traffic. Identify customers' needs and gaps in our content and recommend new topics. Ensure all-around consistency (style, fonts, images, and tone). Update website content as needed. Skill Requirement Write copy for website, social media and digital ads. Create marketing content catering to different target audiences for Social media, blogs and other marketing collateral like eBooks, Whitepapers, Brochures, etc. Ability to do deep research on different technology and domain related topics with the goal of creating rich and engaging content. Have a good understanding of broad level technology topics and knowledge of products and services in HR technology, education technology and enterprise software development. Assist in content marketing efforts done via different channels. Provide creative touches on content representation, grammar and the overall content outline generated by different stakeholders Liaise with teams from Sales, Pre Sales, Technology, delivery to create attractive and meaningful content/news/updates. Must Haves Excellent verbal and written English skills Experience in working for IT/Technology company. Mandatory skill-set Proven work experience as a Content Writer or a similar role. Portfolio of published articles. Experience doing research using multiple sources. Familiarity with website content (Narratives, Headlines, Stand-first, Blurbs). Excellent writing and editing skills in English. Hands-on experience with Content Management Systems (e.g. WordPress) is an advantage. Minimum 2 years of writing experience for B2B brands. Primary skills Conducting in-depth research on industry-related topics in order to develop original content. Developing content for blogs, articles, product descriptions, social media, and the company website. Proofreading content for errors and inconsistencies. Editing and polishing existing content to improve readability. Conducting keyword research and using SEO best practices to increase traffic to the company website. Creating compelling headlines and body copy that will capture the attention of the target audience. Identifying customers needs and recommending new content to address gaps in the company's current content. Qualification Bachelors degree in English or Journalism and at least 2 years demonstrated experience. Writing/editing/publishing content specific for a social media / advertising agency. Flexible writing style to address multiple audiences while maintaining the brand voice. Writing content optimized for SEO is preferred. Ability to develop new topics, research, and find a unique spin on existing topics.
