Description
Blume Global is searching for an experienced Content Marketing Specialist to help lead content strategy, copy planning and writing, while also leading internal communications. Everyone from supply chain journalists to experience copywriters familiar with B2B writing will be considered for this role, which is very writing intensive. This role is a chance to drive the content marketing strategy for an innovative supply chain technology firm, developing new ideas and ways to deliver our message to new markets, while also participating in internal communications work.
Key Responsibilities
• Design executive-level messaging for internal and external communications
• Conceptualize audience-specific narrative arcs for solutions and offerings, developing a fluid, content editorial calendar that encompasses blogs, white papers, video scripts, ad copy, nurture emails, web content and other collateral
• Write press releases and columns for leadershipas needed
• Own Blume's brand journalism efforts, updating the website with two blogs per week
• Collaborate with sales teammates to generate content that addresses customer needs, generating everything from insightful sales collateral and case studies to impactful thought leadership content
• Cultivate internal knowledge experts, interviewing stakeholders to create compelling content
Skills and Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in journalism, English, communications, or a related discipline
• Strong knowledge of SEO best practices
• Minimum 4-5 years of professional copywriting or journalism experience with a solid portfolio of work
• Exceptional research, writing and editing skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Knowledge of the supply chain and supply chain technology is a plus
