Job Description
• Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. Ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with relevant accounting standards, regulations, and company policies.
• Technical Accounting: Stay up-to-date with the latest accounting pronouncements, standards, and regulations specific to the technology industry. Research and apply technical accounting guidance to complex transactions, such as revenue recognition, software capitalization, stock-based compensation, and business combinations.
• Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis to support decision-making processes, including profitability analysis, variance analysis, and trend analysis. Provide insights and recommendations based on financial data to improve business performance and drive strategic initiatives.
• Internal Controls: Develop and implement internal control processes and procedures to ensure the integrity of financial information and safeguard company assets. Identify and mitigate financial risks, and ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements.
• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process automation, streamlining, and optimization within the accounting function. Leverage technology tools and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial reporting and analysis.
• Audit Support: Coordinate and provide necessary documentation and support during internal and external audits. Address audit findings and implement corrective actions as required.
• System Implementation: Collaborate with the IT team to implement and maintain financial systems and software. Ensure data integrity and accuracy in financial systems and troubleshoot any system-related issues.
Skills And Qualifications
• CAs only.
• 2-3 years of experience in financial analysis, accounting, or related field.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP standards, including US GAAP, IFRS, and Ind AS.
• Excellent research and analytical skills.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong client management and relationship building skills.
