Job Title: Continental Chef
Job Summary:
We are seeking a talented and experienced Continental Chef to join our team at the Trip Machine Company's first exclusive cafe/retail store. The Continental Chef will be responsible for managing the kitchen, preparing and cooking a variety of continental dishes, and ensuring that high standards of food quality and presentation are maintained.
Responsibilities:
Manage and oversee the kitchen staff, including training, scheduling, and delegating tasks
Prepare and cook a variety of continental dishes, ensuring that all food is cooked to perfection and presented attractively
Plan menus and create new dishes that are in line with the company's brand and image
Estimate food and labor costs and order supplies as needed
Ensure that food safety and sanitation standards are met and maintained at all times
Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing and retail, to ensure a cohesive customer experience
Manage inventory and food waste to minimize expenses
Keep up to date with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve the menu and service offerings
Provide excellent customer service by ensuring that all customer complaints and inquiries are addressed in a timely and satisfactory manner.
Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a Continental Chef
Good command of basic English
Excellent leadership and management skills
Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation regulations
Ability to create and execute menus that are in line with the company's brand and image
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work under pressure and manage time effectively
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
