Responsibilities:

Prepare and cook a wide range of Continental dishes, including appetizers, entrees, and desserts, with precision and attention to detail.
Develop innovative and enticing menu items, incorporating fresh and seasonal ingredients to enhance flavors and presentation.
Ensure all food preparation and cooking activities adhere to the highest standards of quality, taste, and presentation.
Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, following food safety and hygiene regulations.
Collaborate with the kitchen team to coordinate cooking times, optimize efficiency, and ensure smooth kitchen operations.
Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, placing orders as necessary to maintain stock levels.
Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, providing guidance on cooking techniques, food presentation, and kitchen procedures.
Adhere to portion control guidelines to minimize food wastage and maximize cost-efficiency.
Collaborate with the restaurant management to review and refine menu offerings, considering customer feedback and market trends.
Stay updated with industry trends, culinary innovations, and new cooking techniques to continually enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements:

Proven experience as a Continental Chef in a reputable restaurant or culinary establishment.
In-depth knowledge of Continental cuisine, cooking techniques, and flavor profiles.
A passion for culinary excellence and a creative approach to menu development.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and leadership abilities to coordinate with the kitchen team.
Familiarity with food safety and sanitation regulations.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Culinary degree or relevant certification is preferred but not mandatory.
A portfolio or sample menu showcasing your creativity and expertise would be an advantage
