Job Title: Continental Head Chef
Locations: Pune (Maharashtra)
Kannur (Kerala)
Mangaluru (Karnataka)
Salary Range: 30,000 INR to 35,000 INR per month (Salary may vary based on experience and qualifications)
Job Summary: As the Continental Head Chef at our premier American authentic burger restaurant, you will be the culinary leader, responsible for overseeing the preparation of a diverse range of continental dishes. Your role is central to maintaining top-tier food quality, kitchen operations, and the restaurant's culinary excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the preparation of a variety of continental dishes, setting the highest standards in taste, presentation, and quality.
• Collaborate closely with kitchen staff to create, refine, and update the restaurant's continental cuisine menu.
• Train, guide, and lead kitchen staff, fostering an efficient and harmonious team.
• Ensure the kitchen area is consistently clean, organized, and impeccably hygienic.
• Efficiently manage and control food costs, minimizing waste.
• Oversee inventory management, including ordering, stock rotation, and vendor relations.
• Adapt and excel in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen environment.
Qualifications:
• Diploma in Hotel Management is mandatory.
• Minimum of 6-7 years of relevant experience in continental cuisine.
• Strong knowledge of preparing various continental dishes, including burgers, pasta, hotdogs, sandwiches, wraps, coffee, mocktails, steak, rice bowls, and desserts.
• Good understanding of kitchen operations and food preparation techniques.
• High grooming standards.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be willing to work in shifts.
