Job Description
As a Contingent Business Partner, you would act as a true relationship manager responsible for the day-to-day operational activities relating to the recruitment of contractors including but not limited to requisition management, sourcing, selection and on-going stakeholder management.
Key Accountabilities
This role works with the client to develop strong relationships, to gain their commitment to the process by building knowledge of their business units, market intelligence and internal changes, then sharing this with the broader team
Work proactively to avoid/mitigate potential issues, troubleshoot to resolve problems or obstacles which could not be avoided and document this.
Ensure client requests are completed in a timely manner and to the highest possible service level by obtaining detailed requisition information from clients and utilise it to provide effective service.
Work with clients to identify workforce planning needs and supplier engagement strategies. Resource planning for upcoming work peeks and assisting clients to manage existing workforce resources to effectively complete work.
Mentoring and educating clients on the MSP technology and processes.
Requisition Management, Fieldglass maintenance, Conduct Job Brief, Supplier Liaison/ management, Candidate Selection Management, resume review/Screening, Assist with Continuous process improvement / new initiatives and updating operational documentation and materials, including reference library, SOPs, user guides, training materials, intranet sites etc as these changes are made.
Partner with Workforce specialists to ensure smooth transition from sourcing to onboarding
Mentor new team members by providing training and support but also sharing knowledge across the business.
Typically work on 20-25 roles

Location: Must live in NSW and be comfortable attending MPG office in Sydney CBD and Client site in Parramatta (WFH 2 days/Office 3 days)
Key Requirements
NSW Government experience within the 0007 Scheme / Contractor Central
Ideally someone who has worked directly with the SCM0007 Contingent Workforce Scheme. They should understand how Contractor Central operates, the role of NSW Treasury as scheme owner, and how prequalified suppliers engage with roles released through the MSP.
MSP experience in a process‑driven environment
We need someone who is comfortable operating within defined workflows, governance frameworks, and compliance requirements. Experience in an MSP delivery team (or similar structured environment) will be important.
Strong VMS knowledge (Fieldglass preferred)
The role supports Machinery of Government (MoG) changes/restructures, so they must be confident navigating Fieldglass, performing updates, and supporting UAT/testing when clusters restructure or merge.
Someone who can build rapport quickly, maintain credibility, and manage expectations while still holding firm on process, compliance, and timelines. The ability to push back professionally is essential.
Qualifications & Experience
On site or recruitment agency or account management experience, a natural flair for building and establishing relationships, possess the confidence to influence and negotiate at all levels.
Strong Analytical Skills and Good Attention to detail
Proven experience of thriving in a fast-paced environment with an ability to meet or exceed deadlines without compromising quality, processes or accuracy.
Demonstrate effective multi-tasker that can prioritize and juggle with ease
Strong communication skills (Written and Verbal)
Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
