Contract B1.3 Licensed Engineer

Location: Shawbury

Rate: Negotiable depending on experience – Inside IR35

We are seeking a B1.3 Licensed Engineer to join our client on a 12 month contract. The role involves certifying line, non-routine maintenance, and repair of H135/H145 rotorcraft, with type training provided for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide engineering support to Flight Operations.
• Perform maintenance inspections and repairs as directed.
• Lead a team to ensure the safe operation of aircraft.
• Complete maintenance on airframe, power plant, and systems.
• Replace avionic line replaceable units and conduct serviceability tests.
• Supervise mechanical fitters and certify their work.
• Conduct technical work in workshops and assist with hangar operations.

Essential Qualifications, Knowledge & Skills:
• Strong understanding of engine and airframe systems.
• Knowledge of CAA regulations, particularly Pt 145, Part M, and UK ANOs.
• Familiarity with Continued Airworthiness Management (CAM) and Aircraft Line Maintenance.
• CAA Part 66 B1.3 License (Turbine Rotorcraft).
• Minimum of 3 years in a certifying role.
• Experience in Flight Operations and Line Maintenance.
• Type Rating and experience with H135/H145.
• Knowledge of UK Military Aviation and MFTS.
• Familiarity with SAP and ERP software.
