Roles and Responsibilities
Its a contractual Job for 8 Months, with Switzerland based MNC.
• Collaborate with colleagues from diverse backgrounds to work on a big data platform
• Prepare, read, understand, and communicate (verbally and in writing) business requirements to users, analysts, and developers
• Develop R codes to manipulate reinsurance policy data and perform experience studies
• Analyze and interpret quantitative outputs from reinsurance experience studies
• Prepare and communicate quantitative and qualitative insights to users using Excel, PowerPoint or other tools required by the business.
• Perform other ad hoc tasks as required by the business
Desired Candidate Profile
• Graduate with a quantitative background
• 0 - 1 years of experience, freshers with the below skills are also considered
• Enjoy working with and preparing data from different sources
• Experienced Python and R user
• Strong analytical skills
• Good knowledge in relational databases (SQL) and on Apache Spark.
• Ability to work accurately and deliver on a timely manner
• Ability to prepare and interpret business specifications
• Ability to ask necessary questions
• Enjoy working independently and learning new technologies
• Ability to collaborate with others to find practical solutions
• Strong co-ordination and communication skills
• Desire to learn and improve continually
• Willingness to display strong sense of ethics, integrity, and professionalism at workplace
