The Contract Logistics Information Systems Specialist ASP leads the solution design for highly diverse and complex projects. Your Role
The Contract Logistics Information Systems Specialist ASP operates either independently or as a member of a larger team, focusing on the design of the system landscape and its integration to support operational processes. This role also involves mentoring Senior Solution Designers and/or Solution Designer Specialists, providing consultancy, and conducting Solution Design reviews for various ventures. Your Responsibilities
The Contract Logistics Information Systems Specialist ASP plays a pivotal role in leading and shaping IS solution designs for diverse and complex projects. This role involves translating operational requirements into effective IS processes, collaborating with IS and operations experts, and ensuring the seamless integration and communication of IS landscapes.
You will be working with internal + external stakeholders while focusing on the following key tasks:
• IS Solution Design Creation/Consultancy: Lead the design and provide consultancy for IS solutions in diverse and complex projects.
• Operational Requirement Translation: Convert operational requirements into actionable IS processes, ensuring they align with project goals.
• IS Expert Involvement: Collaborate with IS experts, such as TMS and Automation specialists, to integrate specialized knowledge into solution designs.
• IS Landscape Creation/Review: Design and review comprehensive IS landscapes to support project needs.
• EDI/API Communication Creation/Review: Develop and review EDI/API communication frameworks to ensure efficient data exchange.
• IS Concept Creation/Review/Advice: Create, review, and provide advice on IS concepts to enhance project outcomes.
• Support/Review/Challenge IS Estimation: Support, review, and critically evaluate IS cost and effort estimations for individual sites.
• Internal/External Team Collaboration: Facilitate clear and effective communication with internal and external teams, including Customer Development, Customer Solutions, Customer Onboarding, IS Experts, and Clients.
Your Skills and Experiences
Required Experience:
• Excellent understanding of the logistics industry, specifically in warehouse operations.
• Excellent understanding of warehousing related operational and IS processes.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience as Senior IS Solution Design Specialist in BY WMS / JDA Discrete System.
• Accumulate at least 100 MD in Lead Designer function for complex projects
• Lead at least 2 complex project supervising and coaching others.
Required Skills:
• Basic: Incident Management, Testing Management, Personnel Management, Compliance CSV, Continuous Improvement, Tender Management, Development
• Advanced: Solution Design, Business Analysis, Implementation Project Management, WMS, BI Tools, Electronic Order and Booking Systems
• Basic to Advanced: Interface Platforms, Inventory Visibility and reports configuration
