Job Description
Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of high-end projects, our client is seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to join their team.
This is a permanent position within a specialist interior and refurbishment contractor, delivering luxury projects across residential, hospitality, commercial, and retail sectors. Key Responsibilities
Review contract details, tender documentation, and pre-construction information
Develop construction programmes and information release schedules
Lead site mobilisation and oversee site setup
Hold pre-start meetings with subcontractors
Travel to project sites on a weekly basis
Work closely with the Project QS and Site Managers to ensure effective cost control
Manage subcontractors to ensure H&S compliance and programme delivery
Monitor live projects for quality, cost, and programme performance
Carry out regular site inspections and Contracts Manager (CM) reviews
Attend project meetings and produce regular progress reports
Ensure client requirements are met through a proactive approach
Apply strong contractual knowledge (JCT & Design & Build contracts)
Oversee snagging and de-snagging using SnagR systems
Manage the compilation and handover of CDM H&S files and O&M manuals
Attend project handovers, demonstrations, and post-contract review meeting
Candidate Requirements
3-4 years’ experience in a Contracts Manager role within construction / fit-out / refurbishment
Strong knowledge of JCT and Design & Build contracts
Excellent project oversight across quality, cost, and programme delivery
Strong leadership and subcontractor management skills
Proactive mindset with strong problem-solving ability
Excellent communication and reporting skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and travel to sites as required
