What you will be doing



We are looking for a Contract Manager to take ownership of and ensure effective management of contracts for the supply of goods and services at Auckland Airport as we are navigating through a period of change and significant growth. Develop a detailed understanding of the commercial mechanisms within the contract and provide advice and recommendations to leadership.



Your key responsibilities are:

Effective management and coordination of the full contract lifecycle
Monitoring and measuring supplier performance to support delivery of high-quality outcomes
Represent Auckland Airport’s commercial interests with external stakeholders
Support contract owners to manage financial aspects of contracts to ensure they deliver to financial objectives
Management of new contract implementation, develop governance frameworks, contract performance metrics & controls.


What you’ll bring to the role

To ensure your success in this role, you will need:

Degree in Commerce/Business Studies, or other related field
Demonstrated experience managing contract financial data including and managing contract variations etc.
Excellent relationship-building skills at all levels of the organisation
Strong commercial contract management and stakeholder management skills
Demonstrated ability to think strategically and to influence at all levels
Sound business writing and verbal communication skills, including well-developed presentation skills
