Job Description
• Collaborate with clients and business stakeholders to gather requirements and design scalable and efficient IBM FileNet solutions.
• Develop and customize FileNet applications, including document classes, workflows, security policies, and user interfaces.
• Implement and configure IBM FileNet P8 components, including Content Engine, Process Engine, and Application Engine, to meet project objectives.
• Integrate FileNet solutions with other enterprise systems and applications, such as ERP systems, CRM systems, and third-party repositories.
• Design and implement data migration strategies to transfer content from legacy systems to IBM FileNet repositories.
• Conduct testing, troubleshooting, and debugging of FileNet applications to ensure quality and reliability.
• Provide technical guidance and support to project teams and end-users on FileNet best practices, capabilities, and functionalities.
• Stay updated on the latest developments in IBM FileNet technologies and industry trends and incorporate relevant advancements into project designs and implementations.
• Document technical specifications, installation procedures, and system configurations for reference and knowledge sharing.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Proven experience (3 to 6 years) in designing, developing, and supporting enterprise content management solutions using IBM FileNet.
• Strong proficiency in FileNet P8 architecture, components, APIs, and tools like IBM Content Collector, IBM Datacap.
• Hands-on experience with FileNet development tools, such as Content Navigator, Process Designer, and FileNet Deployment Manager.
• Knowledge of ECM standards and protocols, including CMIS, WebDAV, and LDAP.
• Familiarity with database management systems, particularly IBM DB2.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
