Project Overview:
We are seeking a freelance video editor for a one-time contract to edit 2-3 hours of corporate event video coverage into:
A shortened 30 second version that highlights key moments from the event as a template to be incorporated in;
A range of 10-15 different +0-second highlight video that encapsulates each speaker/ award recipient
This role requires a keen eye for storytelling, attention to detail, and the ability to deliver professional results that align with the client’s vision and brief.
Responsibilities:
Review and analyze 3 hours of raw footage to identify key moments for both videos.
Edit a shortened version (with a clear focus on important moments) and ensure smooth transitions and cohesive flow.
Create a 30-second highlight video that captures the best moments and tells a compelling story.
Apply professional editing techniques, including:
Cutting and pacing for engagement and clarity.
Adding transitions where necessary for visual flow.
Basic color grading for a polished, consistent look.
Audio editing (syncing, noise reduction, leveling).
Ensure both videos meet the client’s expectations for quality and tone.
Incorporate feedback and revisions from the client if necessary.
Qualifications:
Proven experience editing corporate or event videos.
Strong portfolio showcasing similar projects (shortened event footage and highlight reels).
Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
Strong storytelling skills with a focus on professional, corporate-style editing.
Reliable communication skills to ensure client expectations are met.
Key Skills:
Proficiency in identifying and editing key moments to convey a cohesive narrative.
Ability to meet deadlines while delivering polished, professional results.
Strong understanding of tone and event coverage editing styles.
Project Scope and Timeline:
Project Type: One-time contract.
Allocated Hours:
30-Second Video: 4 hours
Multiple(10-15) +0 second Videos: 15 hours
Timeline: Deliver final versions within an agreed-upon deadline.
Compensation: Rate: 56,000 to 70,000 idr per hour
Payment Method: Wise Transfer upon completion of the project Bonus: Potential bonus pay based on performance review at the end of the contract
