Overview
CACTUS is a remote-first organisation and we embrace an accelerate from anywhere culture. This is a contractual role and we are looking for a person to work with us for 2 months.
As a Contractor, Legal you will be responsible for managing various legal agreements, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and enabling business by providing legal support. You get to work on diverse assignments ranging from master service agreements, vendor agreements, NDAs to SAAS agreements, drafting T&Cs for new product/service launches, negotiating with clients/vendors, and doing all this on a global scale.
Responsibilities
• Drafting, negotiating, reviewing, and finalizing various legal agreements such as master service agreements, vendor agreements, NDA's, service level agreements, settlement agreements, RFP's, leave and license agreements, etc.
• Independently manage the entire contract management process using the contract management tool to ensure efficient and organized management of contracts.
• Independently manage and resolve legal and contractual queries through the legal help desk, demonstrating expertise in legal matters.
• Offer timely legal advice and assistance to other departments with minimal supervision, demonstrating strong decision-making skills.
Qualifications And Prerequisites
• LLB qualification with 3-4 years’ experience in drafting, negotiating, and finalizing various legal contracts.
• Strong knowledge of contract law.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills to effectively interact with stakeholders and external parties.
• Ability to work on complex legal agreements with an organized approach in tight timelines with accuracy.
• Detail oriented.
• Proactive attitude with a keen interest in continuous learning and applying legal expertise to support the organization's growth.
