The role
We're looking for a Contracts Administrator to support the commercial delivery of projects across NSW. Based in Sydney, this role will also support project outcomes across regional NSW.
Working closely with the Project Manager, you will play a key role in procurement, contract administration and cost control, ensuring projects are delivered in line with contractual, financial and programme requirements.
Responsibilities:
Manage subcontract procurement from tender through to contract execution
Prepare tender documentation, evaluate submissions and support trade letting
Administer subcontract agreements, variations and payment processes
Support head contract administration including notices, EOTs and variations
Assist with cost reporting, forecasting and commercial performance tracking
Monitor subcontractor performance against budget, programme and scope
Coordinate with project teams to ensure timely delivery of procurement and commercial outcomes
Maintain accurate records, documentation and contract compliance
Support project delivery through strong stakeholder coordination and communication
About You:
Essential:
Degree qualified in Construction Management or a similar discipline
3-7 years' experience in commercial construction (builder-side preferred)
Experience in subcontract procurement and contract administration
Strong understanding of construction contracts and commercial processes
Ability to manage multiple trade packages and deadlines
High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
Confident communicator with the ability to build strong stakeholder relationships
Strong systems capability
