Want to be part of the team?

We’re seeking a senior Contract & Commercial Manager with deep experience running construction‑style contracts on complex IT or systems‑integration programs, owning claims, variations, and commercial risk from day one.

You’ll embed with the delivery team to establish robust commercial governance, protect margins, and confidently report back to senior stakeholders.

Your day at NTT

Establish and maintain robust subcontract administration: notices, correspondence, registers, insurances, security/retentions, and compliance with contractual time bars and reporting obligations.
Own change control and commercial outcomes: assess and negotiate variations, scope changes, delay/disruption and claims (including EOTs where applicable), ensuring timely substantiation and resolution.
Manage milestones, deliverables and acceptance criteria tied to the delivery lifecycle, aligning payment and certification to evidence-based completion.
Provide senior commercial reporting to project leadership: forecast commitments, cashflow, cost-to-complete, contingency movements and claims exposure for the subcontract package.
Oversee progress claims, payment schedules and certification under the subcontract, ensuring compliance with contractual requirements and applicable security of payment legislation and maintaining a clear audit trail
What would make you a good fit for this role?

Senior commercial leadership experience on major projects, ideally managing high-value technology or systems integration subcontracts within a construction environment.
Strong working knowledge of subcontract flow-down and pass-through mechanisms (back-to-back terms, risk allocation, caps, LDs, warranties, security/retentions) and disciplined contract administration.
Highly developed construction stakeholder management skills across clients, engineers, delivery teams and integrators, including confident escalation and dispute-avoidance.
10+ years (or equivalent) experience in Construction contracts/commercial management on major projects, including senior responsibility for a critical subcontract package.
Experience with variation/change control and claims management in a live project environment, including substantiation, negotiation and resolution of delay/disruption and scope-growth impacts.
