Your profile
• You should have instrumentation and Controls Degree
• You should have 4 - 7 years of experience
• Assist the PLE during the hand-over phasecapture and clarification of scope assigned to profile.
• Review specifications and C&E’s elaborationof Client Document List.
• Assist PM/PLE with the definition of WBSactivities/elements relevant tothe project scope“
• Develop overall controls concept based on “onecontrol” modules.
• Support Project Team to define interfaces for SEcontrols scope, e.g. interface to SIS, DCS, VSD.
• Review COMOS Database setup given by Front EndEngineering (FEE) in order to ensure consistent data management.
• Excellent written and verbal presentation skillswith the ability to present complex ideas in a clear and concise manner.
• Familiar with the functionalprinciples and the associated auxiliary systems of the following rotatingmachinery families: CSY-CP: TC-GV, EM, RC / CSY-GT: TC, GEN, (at leastone family from Reciprocating compressor and Single shaft turbo compressor)
• Strongsoft personal skill i.e. team player, quick learner, ability to adapt quickly& effectively etc.
Your responsibilities
• He/she is responsible to fulfill on time alltechnical obligations committed by the Company, including those sub-contractedto external suppliers related to Control System Hardware.
• Further in this position, he/she assists theProject Lead Engineer (PLE) to conduct all necessary technical exchanges withthe Client (End user and/or EPC company). His/her contributions are thereforehighly exposed and essential in terms of Client satisfaction.
• Compile scenarios or alternatives that compareas required: technical risk assessment, execution risk for Company, Clientbenefit, possible impact on project spend & critical path.
• It shall be noted that the CSY Team resources(COC CSY DT, COC CSY PCT) to be coordinated by him/her, are pulled from aglobal organization, thus involving various engineering competencies, SE legacycultures and Company locations.
• The CP Controls Instrumentation Engineer is alsoresponsible to coordinate dataflow of the COMOS LIBRA Database. This includesmanaging numbering procedures, organize design freeze milestones with guidancefrom PLE systematically and ensure data consistency together with relatedelectrical and mechanical Detailers.
• Contributing to continuous improvement forControls related tool landscape and database, e.g. COMOS, Cost Calculation,Documentation list.
• Support NCC prevention initiatives by using 8Dand 5WHY methodologies.
