Job Description
Gain a good understanding of environmental and social risk policies, standards and frameworks.
Build and sustain strong operating model, procedures in line with policies and standards
Leverage a variety of internal and external information sources to conduct due diligence around client and transaction related environmental and social risks
Gather comprehensive information to develop accurate and timely recommendations based on risk implications
Maintain reporting around reviews, due diligence and escalations
Develop strong working knowledge around ESG-related sectors, locations and issues
Ensure compliance with existing control structure while also driving future enhancements
Collaborate with senior business clients and partners across functional areas (e.g., Legal, Finance, Compliance, Risk) and geographies
Become a SME of commercial Banking products landscape, ESG requirements and drive continuous improvements including change management to procedures
Required Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent preferred
8 or more years of relevant experience; financial services industry or background in Risk Management or Environmental, Social, Governance preferred
Proficiency working in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong problem solving and analytical skills with experience in navigating through ambiguity
A curious mind that prefers to go deep to understand details
A positive attitude and team spirit with exceptional interpersonal and collaboration skills
