Job Description
Bechtel India Office is currently seeking Control Systems & Telecom Engineers for Large Infrastructure Projects especially related to Technological Buildings. The ideal candidate, in addition to meeting all the Essential Job Duties and Job Knowledge need to be a self-starter and possess strong oral and written communication skills.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:
1. Study of Process Flow Diagrams, P&ID’s and develop Interlock and Protection Logic Diagrams.
2. Preparation / Review of Engineering drawings & documents like I/O Scheduling, Wiring Drawing, Cable Schedule, Loop Drawings, Instruments Location & Installation Drawing, Cable Route & Tray Route Layout, JB Termination Drawing, Control & network patch panels drawings.
3. Design and Engineering of Building Management System (BMS) which includes controlling and monitoring of Building’s mechanical and electrical equipment such as HVAC, lighting, power systems, fire systems, access control and security systems.
4. Design and Engineering of Fire Detection, Fire & Gas Safety Systems and Early Warning & Smoke Detection System for Buildings.
5. Design and Engineering of CCTV, Surveillance System, PAGA, Access Control Systems and Intrusion Detection Systems.
6. Review of 3D Model in S3D and Autodesk Revit using SPR or Navisworks and be a stakeholder in 30%, 50% and +0% Model Reviews with Client, Vendor and Sub Contractors in BIM enviroment..
7. Design and Engineering of Leak Detection System and interface with Building Management System.
8. Preparation of Subcontract Requisitions and Bid Evaluation and Vendor Print Review.
+. Telecommunication system design including design of campus backbone cabling, trays and conduits connecting various buildings. Designing Wireless LAN with wireless access points and wireless control
points.
10. Develop System Architecture of Telecom Networks including selection of network switch, routers, firewall and VOIP based equipment’s and phone.
11. Review of Hazardous Production Material Monitoring System
