Job Description
Partner with CARV manager in development of Action Plans and milestones for examiner-identified Issues
Monitor the timely submission of Action Plan artifacts
Conduct independent validation to perform comprehensive examination of artefacts that substantiate action plan milestones
Document and present Issue closure proposals to CARV management team, business owners and other key stakeholders
Effectively manage assigned Issues, across AWM Operations, maintaining transparency and necessary updates to CARV managers for each area of coverage
Engage with control colleagues across the firm, business, operations management, legal, compliance, risk, audit, regulators and technology control functions
Skills and Qualifications
Associates degree in Finance, Accounting, Engineering, Supply Chain or Business-related discipline or equivalent experience with 3+ years of relevant work experience in controls, audit, risk management, compliance or related functions
Proficient project management and strong organizational skills
Proficient knowledge of control and risk management concepts with the ability to design, create and evaluate the operational risk and control environment
Communication/presentation - excellent written and verbal communication skills with an ability to influence in a meaningful and actionable manner
Highly motivated, self-starter who takes ownership and can work autonomously
Problem solving / Analytical skills - solid critical thinking, attention to detail and analytical skills; able to synthesize large amounts of data and formulate appropriate conclusions
Understanding root cause / identifying control deficiencies
Ability to successfully navigate a complex infrastructure that involves numerous groups and individuals
Knowledge of banking processes, regulations and associated risks a plus
