Planning Solicitor | NQ-4 PQE | National Law Firm | Leicester
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Planning Solicitor (NQ-4 PQE) to join a leading national law firm in their Leicester office. This is a fantastic chance to work with a highly regarded planning team on complex and high-profile projects across the UK. The role offers full-time, permanent employment with flexible hybrid working.
The Role
You'll be joining a top-ranked planning team that advises major developers, landowners, local authorities, and infrastructure providers on a wide range of matters, including:
· Planning applications, appeals, and judicial reviews
· Section 106 and infrastructure agreements
· Development consent orders (DCOs)
· Environmental impact and due diligence issues
· Strategic land promotion and regeneration projects
Candidate Profile
· NQ to 4 years' PQE with experience in planning law (either through training seat or post-qualification)
· A strong academic background and excellent drafting skills
· A commercial and solutions-focused mindset
· Enthusiastic and keen to grow within a nationally recognised team

What you'll do
They provide clients across all the firms service lines with a dedicated Conveyancing team, backed by cutting-edge case management technology, allowing them to focus on exceptional customer service and quality. As a Conveyancing Assistant you will support the relevant team and provide individuals and businesses with a first-class service in a wide range of conveyancing transactions.
In this role, you'll:
• Be a part of a market leading team which spans a multitude of different specialisms.
• Have the opportunity to grow your conveyancing career.
• Manage caseloads and provide crucial administrative support to ensure smooth operations.
• Provide individuals and businesses with a first-class service in a wide range of conveyancing transactions.
• Provide a high-level support service for the team, by helping it meet its overall targets.
• Amend and collate letters with enclosures adhering to deadlines and securing appropriate signoffs from relevant Lawyers.
• Engage with clients, stakeholders, and third parties, promptly addressing correspondence, calls, and emails.
• Work alongside Conveyancers and members of the wider Real Estate Group.
• Handle various post-completion tasks, progressively taking on more responsibility for deadlines.

• Experience working within conveyancing and an understanding of conveyancing procedures. - ideal if you are looking for a step into this level.
