Rogue Kitchen & Wetbar is looking for the right individual to join our Kitchen team at Rogue Broadway. The successful applicant will be responsible for assisting in the preparation, cooking, and service of food. If you are interested in working in this exciting fast paced role, we look forward to hearing from you!!!
Duties & Responsibilities:
Cook menu items to spec
Communicate with other staff and management
Perform inventory checks
Ensure recipe ingredients are checked for quality on a consistent basis
Uphold bill time standards
Ensure that the kitchen is held to the highest health and sanitization standards
Continually look for ways to improve processes, procedures, and reduce costs
Required Skills:
Self-motivated, results driven, prefers to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment
Effective interpersonal skills
Excellent communication skills
Ability to make judgement calls independently when needed
Outstanding team player with excellent work ethic
Ability to thrive in a high-pressure environment
Education and Experience:
Experience cooking in a busy restaurant
Food Safe Certification
First Aid Level 1 (an asset)
