Cook / Chef - Remote South Australia
We are seeking an experienced Cook / Chef for this busy property located in remote South Australia.
The role would suit someone with excellent bistro and short order cooking experience able to work solo for some shifts.
Working under a supportive management team, you will work in a fast paced kitchen environment catering to inhouse guests and passing travellers stopping in for meals.
The isolation and unique location means there is nowhere else in the world like this! There is nothing to spend your money on so it’s the perfect location to save your hard earned money!
Outside of work, you can watch amazing sunsets, explore the caves, visits the cliffs or just sit and relax under the star filled skies. Staff have use of onsite swimming pool and onsite WIFI.
Immediate Start
Package:
Casual Position
$33.++ per hour Monday-Friday
$44.34 per hour Sat & Sunday
FREE Accommodation and Meals
Own room with shared bathrooms
Duties:
General prep & cooking of bistro & short order meals
Maintain a clean kitchen
Work as part of a small kitchen team
Work solo shifts as required
Other duties as required
Candidate Requirements:
Previous experience in a fast paced kitchen
Strong short order and al a carte cooking experience
Experience with Bakery / Cake cooking desirable
Able to work as part of a team
Additional Information:
Sealed roads via car
Candidates will ideally have their own vehicle
Pick up from closest town can be arranged
Telstra Mobile coverage-WiFi available
