What You’ll Do
As a Cook, you will play a key role in supporting daily kitchen operations and ensuring high standards of food quality and presentation. Your duties will include:
Preparing, seasoning, and cooking food items in accordance with recipes and menu requirements.
Planning and organising food preparation to ensure efficient and timely service.
Examining ingredients to ensure freshness, quality, and proper storage.
Operate and monitor kitchen equipment such as ovens, grills, fryers, and other cooking appliances at the correct temperatures and settings.
Portioning, plating, and presenting dishes to maintain consistency and quality.
Prepare meals to meet special dietary requirements (e.g., vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, or allergen-free).
Cleaning and maintaining kitchen equipment and work areas.
Supervise, train, and assist junior kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations.
