Responsibilities

Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure the health and safety of all guests.
Assist in meal preparation, including chopping, slicing, and mixing ingredients as needed.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation during service hours.
Help with inventory management by tracking food supplies and reporting shortages.
Adhere to portion control guidelines to minimize waste while maximizing quality.
Skills
Proven experience as a Cook in a restaurant or food service environment.
Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling.
Ability to prepare a variety of dishes with attention to detail and presentation.
Excellent time management skills, with the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
Strong communication skills for effective collaboration within the kitchen team.
Familiarity with kitchen equipment and tools used in food preparation.
A passion for cooking and willingness to learn new techniques in the food industry.
