We are urgently looking for a full-time cook with relevant qualification and experience to join our team and commence work immediately.
We are looking for someone who meets the following expectations:
Preferably (not necessarily) an Australian citizen/permanent resident
Possesses a trade certificate in commercial cookery or equivalent
Has worked for at least 2 years as a cook/chef in restaurants offering Indian cuisine
Has a high standard of food presentation and takes pride in his/her culinary skills
Able to work and adapt well with the kitchen staff
Has a passion for producing quality food to meet customer demand
Experience in preparation of a wide variety of South and North Indian dishes
Be available for work on most days, including weekends
Be able to communicate with suppliers to place orders for food supplies
Fanatical about a tidy and clean hygienic kitchen and ensures food safety requirements are maintained
Has a happy personality that is maintained under pressure
