Job Description
The Carver is responsible for slicing and serving barbecue to exacting standards while engaging directly with guests at one of the most visible stations in the restaurant. This role requires technical skill, focus, and respect for the product, balanced with hospitality and confidence.
A successful Carver understands that slicing is not mechanical—it is a judgment-based craft. You must read the meat, adjust technique in real time, and portion accurately to ensure consistency, quality, and fairness for every guest.
You will work closely with pitmasters, counter servers, and kitchen leadership to maintain product integrity, manage pacing, and ensure that barbecue is served at its peak.
