Job Location: Epping, Essex
Wensley House is Registered for 48 residents, situated in Epping, in an idyllic forest setting at the end of a private driveway with secure and ample free parking.
We strive to ensure that the physical and emotional wellbeing of our residents is maintained at the highest level in a pleasant and friendly, harmonious environment.
Your Duties:
To cater to a high standard and ensure that Residents receive good quality meals which are well prepared and well presented in accordance with the menu of the day, in keeping with the principles of basic food hygiene.
In more detail this would entail managing all activities in relation to food planning, ordering and preparation. Responsibilities include ordering of provisions in line with budget, assist in menu creation in line with the Home’s guidance, manage deliveries and ensure safe storage and stock rotation, maintaining minimum workable stock levels and manage service and preparation of dishes. There is a Kitchen Assistant who will also be present with you in the kitchen.
Experience and Qualifications:
Experience is required, preferably in a similar setting, and the appropriate qualifications for the role.
