Full job description
Cloud 777 Cafe - Mount Wellington currently look for a hardworking and reliable cook to join us. Working hours is from 30 to 40 hours per week. Pay rate ranges from $26 to $29 per hour, depending on level of skills and experience.
Your duties will include:
Prepare ingredient such as measure ingredients, peel and chop vegetables, cut meat etc.
Cook food following recipes and accommodate customers dietary requirements.
Portion and present food according to our standards.
Prepare salads, savouries, and sandwiches.
Monitor stock level and quality, assist with ordering supplies.
Clean and sanitize food preparation areas and cooking equipment.
Ensure cooking appliance and equipment in working condition, report any issues.
Perform any other related duties as required.
Required skills and attributes:
Minimum 1 year (preferable 2 years) of relevant work experience in commercial kitchen.
Able to start at 5am and can work on weekends.
Physically fit for heavy liftings and standing for extended period.
Able to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Have strong multitasking and organizational skills.
Reliable and punctual, able to work independently as well as in a team environment.
