Food Preparation: Oversee the preparation of high-quality dishes, ensuring adherence to recipes, portion control, and presentation standards. Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
Culinary Expertise: Demonstrate proficiency in a variety of cooking techniques, cuisines, and food styles. Stay updated on current culinary trends and bring fresh ideas to our menu offerings.
Staff Supervision: Provide guidance and training to kitchen staff, promoting teamwork, efficiency, and consistent quality. Coordinate schedules and ensure proper staffing levels to meet operational demands.
Food Safety and Sanitation: Maintain strict adherence to food safety and sanitation standards, including HACCP guidelines. Implement and enforce proper hygiene practices throughout the kitchen.
Budget Management: Assist in budget planning and cost control measures to optimize profitability. Monitor expenses related to food inventory, equipment maintenance, and staffing.
Special Events: Collaborate with event coordinators to plan and execute catering services for special occasions, ensuring exceptional culinary experiences for guests.
Requirements:
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
