Job Summary:
The Grill Master (Cook) creates exceptional guest experiences by preparing grilled and hot food items according to company standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare, marinate, season, cook, stock, and rotate chicken and other proteins
Receive orders, cut cooked chicken, and arrange proteins for proper presentation
Maintain holding time and product quality
Clean and sanitize the work area, equipment, and tools
Inspect raw proteins for acceptable quality standards
Thaw and store raw proteins as needed
Assist on the hot and cold prep lines
Strive to meet customer expectations and satisfaction
Work collaboratively with restaurant team members and management
Requirements:
Food Handler Certification (obtained promptly upon hire)
Previous restaurant cooking experience (preferred but not required)
Willingness to participate in cross-training opportunities
Enthusiastic and positive demeanor
Strong communication, attention to detail, and organizational skills
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
Physical Demands:
Regularly stands, talks, hears, uses close and distance vision, tastes, or smells
Repetitively reaches, handles, feels, and/or grasps objects with hands
Occasionally bends, stoops, kneels, crouches, and/or crawls
Lifts objects weighing up to 40 lbs
