As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing multiple dishes that meet our standards of excellence while ensuring food safety and hygiene practices are followed.
Responsibilities
Prepare and cook a variety of menu items according to established recipes and standards as well as food prep
Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner while maintaining high quality and presentation.
Adhere to food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques at all times.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including equipment and utensils.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow and communication during service.
Assist in menu planning and development, considering dietary restrictions and preferences.
Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and ingredients, reporting any shortages or needs to management.
Skills
Proficiency with knife skills and various cooking techniques.
Strong understanding of food safety regulations within the food industry.
Experience working in a restaurant or catering environment is preferred.
Knowledge of culinary arts, including food preparation methods and presentation styles.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
Flexibility to adapt to changing menus or dietary requirements as needed.
