Work Location: New Plymouth
Employment type: Full time (guaranteed 30 hours / per week) permanent.
Our pay: $27 - $30 per hour depending on experience.
We are a long established and busy Chinese Fusion restaurant in New Plymouth
To meet increasing community needs we are now looking for 1 Cook to join our team. We are expecting someone who are team players and are multi-tasking.
At least 2 years relevant work experience, preferrably relavant to Asian cuisine
Tasks Include:
Assist the chef in the preparation and cooking of food as required
Follow direction toward portion control cooking standards and wastage
Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet the restaurant’s standards
Assist in planning and revising menus as needed, incorporating seasonal ingredients and dietary considerations.
Check and manage inventory of ingredients, including ordering and storing supplies to maintain kitchen efficiency.
