About the Role

Reporting to the Executive Manager HR, the Coordinator HR Business Partnering plays a leading role in the HR Business Partner function across the City.

The Coordinator will partner with leaders and employees across Corporate and Operational portfolios to achieve strategic business outcomes whilst fostering an engaged, committed and customer centric workforce, where staff embrace change, are flexible and agile in their work and understand how they contribute to the City.

The role will lead and mentor the HR Business Partnering team (3 FTE) to develop and implement operational HR initiatives, evaluate and improve current practices, policies and procedures meeting legislative requirements and the needs of employees and people leaders.

The preferred candidate will have a tertiary qualification in human resources, and experience in a senior generalist human resources capacity. This will be complemented by their comprehensive knowledge of relevant legislation and employee relations principles.
