About the role:
Reporting to the Senior Coordinator, Training and Development, the Training Coordinator is responsible for developing, implementing, and delivering training programs.
To be successful, we are looking for someone with strong interpersonal and communication skills, exceptional attention to detail, and a passion for fostering professional growth. In this role you will:
Participate in and adhere to health and safety programs and policies
Represent the company and the Training team positively, upholding EVR’s values
Lead, coordinate and execute training while aligning with the Mine support departments training priorities
Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs, including hands-on, classroom, computer-based, and field training tailored to site requirements
Conduct operator reviews to enhance skills and ensure safe, productive performance
Develop and modify Standard Practices and Procedures in accordance with the site’s standards and procedures
Collaborate with supervisors and departments to assess training needs, prioritize requirements, and develop effective solutions
Coordinate training schedules with supervisors and document activities
Assist with the development of training and documentation pertinent to the site’s training requirements
Analyze training data to identify opportunities for continuous improvement in safety and operational efficiency
Complete ongoing training to maintain and update knowledge pertaining to regulations
Build strong, collaborative relationships with operations, processing and maintenance teams to address departmental needs effectively
Attend and deliver presentations at monthly safety meetings
Requirements:
A minimum of three years’ experience in an industrial environment with exposure to heavy equipment
Minimum three years of experience in training or mentoring others
A valid Class 5 Driver’s License
Strong digital literacy, with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite® (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Advanced communication and interpersonal abilities to engage and inspire diverse teams
Strong organizational skills, with the ability to adapt and prioritize in a fast-paced setting
Ongoing commitment to training and staying current with regulations and standards
Heavy equipment experience and knowledge
Experience in open-pit mining or a similar environment is an asset
The actual base salary offered is determined based on the successful candidate’s relevant experience, skills, and competencies and considers internal equity.
