Job Description

Universal Kids is a division within Universal Entertainment that develops, produces, and distributes digitally native content for kids across YouTube and other platforms. With dozens of kid-directed channels, our Universal Kids YouTube network generates billions of views per year.

The Coordinator, Universal Kids Digital Studio, will handle administrative support for the head of the group in addition to supporting the department as a whole. They will collaborate with internal teams in a support role as well as spearheading projects and research as assigned on an ad-hoc basis.

Responsibilities:

Manage executive and departmental calendars

Coordinate and, when requested, attend meetings with internal and external parties; providing meeting minutes and tracking follow ups

Work closely with senior staff and interface with corporate officers and their assistants

Maintain confidential information/documents with high level of discretion

Process expense reports in accordance with established policy guidelines; track expenses and follow-up in timely manner

Participate in brainstorms and development meetings by pitching ideas and contributing your perspective where appropriate

Perform internet research about emerging talent and other special research projects as assigned

Maintain workflow when executives are out of the office, anticipate issues, and make decisions with initiative, independent judgment, and logic

Provide general clerical and admin support for the Universal Kids department at large (e.g. order office supplies, coordinate team events, etc.)


Qualifications

Previous experience in administration or coordinator position including scheduling expense reporting

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Project Management skillsets

Highly developed communication skills — both verbal and written

Attention to detail and demonstrated initiative; a self-starter who is organized with strong decision-making capability, ability to follow through without supervision and strong emotional maturity

Ability to work independently, identify and communicate solutions to problems, and be persistent in follow-through

Desired Characteristics:

Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills

Fosters a collaborative work environment and contributes to a positive morale and spirit within the team

Ability to prioritize and reprioritize deliverables and to respond in a dynamic work environment

Deep knowledge and familiarity with YouTube, Instagram, Snapchat and TikTok

Experience in creating efficient processes / identifying areas of weakness in a workflow and working to improve them

Proficiency with Airtable

Additional Requirements

Hybrid: This position currently has a hybrid schedule, which requires contributing from the office a minimum of four days per week. The Company reserves the right to change in-office requirements at any time.


This position is eligible for company sponsored benefits, including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and a variety of other discounts and perks.
